A process.

Script/audio track is received, sketches for characters…

scene sequences/story board and props such as houses, vehicles, weapons etc...are sketched and from there the few selected sketches the models are made and textured inside the computer using a 3D software fo the modeling and a paint software for the textures. Characters that will be part of animation are then rigged (a skeleton is built inside these models) to be animated later. The props and environments modeled are then part of a scene where the cameras and characters are then animated to create scene sequences (3D animatic). Lighting and Rendering is next and is where a sequences of images are created from each frame in an animation. These images are then brought into a video editing software where they’re composited into a movie.

These steps are NOT set in stone and do not work in all scenarios furthermore each stage in a production requires even more steps. In other words....Nothing worthwhile is easy to do.
